Halloween 2008 in Dobbs

Jadon and I went trick-or-treating in downtown Dobbs Ferry with a few of his friends from school. Jadon's class had a Halloween party and Halloween march.

Jadon's 5th Birthday Party!

We had Jadon's 5th birthday party at Slices Inc. Pizza in Hastings, NY. All the kids wore costumes, and the birthday was pirate-themed. We even had a treasure chest cake!

Special

Tonight was really special. I asked Jadon what made him the most happy in the whole wide world, and he responded with, "when you give me kisses and hugs."

Our Trip to California

Jadon and I had a wonderful time in CA. Aiden, Devin and Aiden were buddies the entire trip. They splanshed around at the beach, played in the pool, and ran through Disneyland.

Jadon is currently obsessed with all things boy, violent, and action-centered. For example: Batman, Superman, pirates, Spiderman, Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Robin Hood, etc.
Everything and anything becomes a weapon. Yes, EVERYTHING! If you're not a good guy, then you are naturally a bad guy. In other words, you must be killed immediately. Watch out!

This was taken at The Virginia Highlands Summer Festival at the local fire station. Jadon was elated that the fireman invited him into the station. Jadon got to see the firetruck, slide on the pole, and he was given his very own hat!!!

Finally, I posted a picture of our newest family addition. He's a Corgi/Shepard mix. He's alomst 1 year old now. We got him through a group called Ruffus Rescue (Yes, I do mean "Ruff"). Max instantly became the new love in our lives. :)
